At Echoz, we believe in giving back to those who have served our country. We are committed to donating 70% of our profits to support veterans with hearing problems. This initiative is aimed at providing much-needed assistance and resources to improve the quality of life for veterans who struggle with hearing issues.
UK veterans have served our nation with valour, but many return home with a hidden burden-
hearing loss. A staggering statistic reveals that veterans are 3.5 times more likely to
experience hearing issues compared to those who haven’t served. This struggle affects
approximately 300,000 ex-service people in the UK, impacting their communication, social
life, and overall well-being.
The UK Veterans Hearing Foundation (UKVHF) stands as a beacon of hope for these heroes,providing a lifeline to restore sound to their lives. With a mission to break the silence and support veterans suffering from hearing loss, UKVHF ensures access to quality hearing aids, specialised care, and aid for associated tinnitus and mental health issues resulting from military service.
Founded with an unwavering commitment, UKVHF is the only charity in the UK dedicated exclusively to addressing hearing loss for former members of the Armed Forces. Their effortshave already transformed the lives of over now 100 veterans and counting, but the demandfor their support continues to grow. The pandemic and other factors have resulted in asignificant backlog of veterans in need of timely assistance. The foundation has launched innovative initiatives to enable generous contributions fromindividuals and organisations alike. Donations can be made through their website or check,but UKVHF goes beyond traditional methods. They have established an online shop forsecond-hand clothes, with 100% of profits directly supporting veterans. Additionally, people can donate clothes and hearing aids, making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who have served.
